Margaret Ann Ingram, age 76, of Curtis, NE passed away at the Great Plains Regional Health Center in North Platte on November 12, 2020. She was born in Cambridge, NE on October 19, 1944 to Carl and Erma (Munson) Presler. Margaret graduated from UNSA in Curtis in 1961. She attended Kearney State College and later obtained her degree from Frontier Range Community College in Colorado.
She married Wayne Castor and to this union three children were born: Anngela Kay, Chadd Wayne, and Wade Allan. She was united in marriage to Larry Ingram on July 31, 1993, he preceded her in death on December 24, 2014. The couple farmed and raised cattle near Stockville. Margaret enjoyed the farm and all the farm animals: horses, bucket calves, cats, and dogs. She and Larry traveled, and she loved to ride the motorcycle. Margaret enjoyed helping haul the cattle on the cattle pots. She loved music and had a beautiful voice. She was a member of the Stockville Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Erma; husband, Larry; sister, Roselyn Castor; and granddaughter, Kennedi Ingram.
Margaret Ann is survived by her daughter, Anngela Kay and husband, Larry Durner, of Bartley; two sons, Chadd Wayne Castor of Thornton, CO and Wade Allan Castor Broomfield, CO; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; step-children: Greg and wife, Leah Ingram, of Greeley, CO; Lori Ingram of Eaton, CO; Monte and wife, Tami Ingram, of Eaton, CO; Scott and wife, Megan Ingram, of Windsor, CO; niece, Shannon Castor of Cambridge, NE; nephew, Monte and Elena Castor of Broomfield, CO.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Congregational Church in Stockville, NE from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at the Arbor Cemetery of Stockville, NE on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Jim Jones conducting services.
