Jackie used her God-given talent since the age of 12 to serve as pianist and organist at church and also used these talents for weddings, funerals, entertaining at the Cambridge Manor, as well as multiple other community functions. She was instrumental in organizing the Old Fashioned Saturday Night along with being a key figure in creating the Cambridge Economic Development Board. She was a member of the B Square Club, taught Sunday School and directed the Junior Choir for many years. She was passionate about being involved in service to the church and community.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Paul; sons Von (Becky), Steve (Eileen), Todd (Kristen), all of Cambridge; and daughter, Tami, of North Platte. There was always a special place in Jackie’s heart and home for her brother-in-law, Bruce Johnson. She is also survived by a niece, Loretta Carpenter; grandchildren Tara (Bill) Kampen, Kimberly (Ryan) Huxoll, Michael (Erin) Johnson, April (Jeremy) Cardwell, Jay (Jordan) Johnson, Jackson (Justina) Johnson, Sydney (Stuart) White, Isaac (Breezy) Johnson, and Sloan Johnson; great-grandchildren Olivia and Madalyn Kampen, Brecksen and Mason Cardwell, Reid Huxoll, Reeslyn and Wrigley Johnson.
