Patricia (Patty) Jean Fetters passed away Tuesday, March 19 in Beaver City, Nebraska at the age of 75.
Patty was born January 4, 1944 in Cambridge, Nebraska to Edward Hilker and Alice Haussler-Hilker. Patty attended Edison High School. She was Bruce Fetters’ right hand man throughout all of his adventures across Nebraska. August 6, 1960 she was united in marriage to Bruce Alan Fetters in the Lutheran Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska.
Patty’s passions were her husband, children, Troy, Christopher, and Allison, and grandchildren, Logan, Jade, Michael, Sunnie, CJ, and Jett. She also cherished those cats of hers, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Patty enjoyed attending church, reading Amish books, taking afternoon cat naps, filling up on good food, horses, and most importantly, she enjoyed being surrounded by loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alice Hilker, husband, Bruce Alan Fetters, son, Patrick Mark Fetters, father and mother-in-law, Ted and Elsie Fetters, and son-in-law, Jesse Ray Krutsinger.
Patty is survived by her three children,Troy Alan Fetters of Ogallala, Nebraska, Christopher and Marites Fetters of Dodge City, Kansas, and Allison Jean Krutsinger of Denver, Colorado, her brother Dennis Hilker of Kearney, Nebraska, her sister Laverene Cook of Lincoln, Nebraska, her six grandchildren Logan, Jade, Michael, Sunnie, CJ, and Jett and as well as many loving relatives and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Patty’s name.
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge, Nebraska on Monday, March 25 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Kim officiating.
Visitation will be at Lockenour Jones Mortuary in Cambridge, Nebraska on Sunday, March 24 from 2-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. Friends may leave online condolences at lockenour.com.
