Frank M. Langley, age 65 passed away at his home on Monday, June 4, 2018. He was born in Cambridge on January 31, 1953 to Vernon “Fritz” and Maxine (Foster) Langley. Frank attended and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1971.
In October 1972, Frank enlisted in the US Marine Corps. He served for 8 years, with his final duty station in Lansing, MI as a recruiter. He was Honorably Discharge in 1980 as a Staff Sargent.
He married to Sandra Olhman in 1975 and to this union 2 children was born Jeffrey and Jaime. In 1982, Frank wed Dawn Jones and to this union 3 children were born: Jesse, Andrea and Jacob.
Frank enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. He loved to play golf and attend sporting and school events of his family. He recently took up fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents an infant brother Robert C. and a brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Burke.
Frank is survived by his children: Jeff and wife Kim Langley of Yuma, CO, Jaime and husband Randy Stewart of Cambridge; Jesse and wife Brooke Langley of Alma, NE; Andrea and husband Kris Dresen of Eaton, CO; Jacob and Lacy (Harvey) Langley of Kearney, NE; 9 grandchildren: Caden Houghtelling, Lizzy Taylor, Will Taylor, Annabelle Taylor, Avery Langley, Tucker Dresen, Easton Sutton, Presley Dresen and Scarlett Langley; 3 sisters: Rheta Burke of Cambridge; Sylvia and husband Doug Stutzman of Lincoln, NE; Brenda and husband Charlie Finnegan of Yacolt, WA; 3 brothers: Mike and wife Barb of Cambridge, NE; Matt and wife Sherri of Gothenburg, NE; Patt of Beaver Creek, OR.
Memorial services will be held July 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary with Jim Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery of Cambridge with Military Honors at graveside by a Marine Honor Guard. Friend may leave on-line condolences at lockenour.com.
