She was active in her church, UMW, Community Clubs: Busy Bee’s, Double 8’s and other women society events of Wilsonville. Adeline enjoyed crocheting, reading, and loved to be around her family.

Preceded her in death were parents: Adam and Mary Dieken; step mother: Emma; daughter: Jeanne Martin; sister: Mary Jane and husband Neil McDowell; great granddaughter: Lilly Loch; brothers-in-law: John and wife June Ballou; Roger Ballou; Clarence Courtright.

Adeline is survived by her daughter: JoAnne and husband Brad Schwartz of Kearney, 3 sons: Barry and wife Gretchen Ballou of Hastings; Brent and wife Colleen Ballou of Wilsonville; Brad and wife JoLynn Ballou of Beaver City: 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother Jack and wife Chieko Dieken of Oklahoma City, OK; son-in-law: Phil Martin of Clay Center, KS.
